 Directions to the church:  Bethel Baptist Church is located at 606 South DeKalb Street in Shelby.   

Coming in to Shelby from Highway 74 By-Pass:  At the intersection of Highway 74 and DeKalb Street, you will see McDonalds, Burger King, Walgreen, and Shelby High School at that intersection.  You will turn North onto DeKalb Street (between Burger King and Walgreen), and the church will be on your left at the next stoplight.  The gym is the building set back from the road and to the left of the sanctuary building.   

Coming in to Shelby from Highway 18N:  Follow Highway 18 N. into Shelby until you come to a light at DeKalb Street – Walgreen will be on your left, Cleveland Regional Medical Center will be on your right.  Turn left onto DeKalb Street, go through lights at Marion St., Warren St., and Graham St.  You will see the church on your right before you get to the next light.  The gym is the building set back from the road and to the left of the sanctuary building. 

Coming into Shelby from Highway 150 (Cherryville Road), you will pass the YMCA, go through the next light, and at the light where the road dead-ends at a stoplight, turn right onto Marion Street.  Pass Harris-Teeter shopping center on your right, go through a residential area, and when you get to Griffin Tire on your right and a dry cleaning company on your left, turn left onto DeKalb Street. going through lights at Warren St. and Graham St.  Continue on for about a quarter of a mile, and you will see the church on your right just before you get to the next light.  The gym is the building set back from the road and to the left of the sanctuary building.
